Just driving to the hospital, parking in the parking lot, and walking into the building, brought back so many feelings, emotions, and memories; feelings, emotions and memories that we will someday share with Syler. There are not enough thank you’s we can say to the staff to show them just how much we appreciate everything they did for Syler.

I am sure it was quite a wonderful moment to go back there for both you and the nurses to see how far Syler has come this year. I am sure the nurses/doctors love the reunion because it gives them the renewed energy to know that their jobs are so important.
Do you know that other couple personally before this occured or you became friend through this experience?
We knew the other people personally. Well, I knew Aimee because she went to high school with my brother. Brendan we didn't meet until the NICU.
